Sorry, I've been a little lax in keeping up with the SOTW posts. I will snap out of it and jump back on the bandwagon here.

This week, and the past few for that matter has been filled with T.I.'s Paper Trail. This album is blasting single after single to the charts. The album overall is one that you can put on and let play all the way through. Which, for a person with an extremely short attention span at times, is a huge plus from yours truly.

Anyways, I have been listening to 'Swagga Like Us' quite a bit already this week. The song is an awesome mix of styles. Jay-Z, Kanye, Lil' Wayne and M.I.A.'s sample all add their unique blend to T.I.'s version.

This track is likely to be around for some time as Jay-Z's upcoming The Blueprint 3 will feature it along with 'Swagger Like Us Pt 2'.

The Script is a chill Irish band. Pretty new to the scene as this is only their second major single. This is the type of song that makes you want to relax.

The unfortunate part is that I'm sorry to say I can actually appreciate a song where the band is comprised of 2/3rds ex My Town members...bummer.
